Idaho-Forged is all about bringing what it means to be Idaho-Forged to our supporters, and what’s more “Idaho-Forged” than products that are actually made in Idaho! Idaho-Forged uses an “Idaho First” approach when sourcing our vendors and factories. If an Idaho-based vendor isn’t available to produce a specific product, we expand our search incrementally beginning with the Pacific Northwest, the West, the Continental U.S.A, and only then, if we cannot source a local or domestic vendor, do we expand our search to an international pool.
Please know, that due to the ever-changing and expanding global market, not all raw goods are available in every part of the world. As manufacturing began to shift overseas in the early 2000s, the demand for raw goods followed along, leaving very little inventory available for domestic production in the U.S. This isn’t a uniquely Idaho-Forged issue, but something with which many brands must contend.
